We were going to go for a nice long walk...

and instead I'm sitting with a bag of frozen blueberries on my ankle because of this....

I was getting ready to take the boys out on a walk- when I stepped out my front door (carrying 25 lb Oliver)and somehow twisted my ankle. The first shooting pains were seriously worse than labor (and I had a HARD labor.) I collapsed on the porch- but I was able to set Oliver down first, unharmed. I grabbed and called Drew- hyperventilating. He lives 3 blocks from here and sprinted home, literally. He was out of breathe big time when he RAN up. I was still laying on the porch, feeling dizzy and in So much pain. After a couple of minutes he helped me up and I thought I was fine to walk into the house.

Drew was saying something- don't know what, but his voice sounded like he was talking into a microphone and echoing. It was really creepy. And then his echoey voice got farther away. And the room went dark, and I fell to the floor. Before that hands were all tingly and slightly numb. Weird?

Yep I think I fainted. From a rolled ankle. Drew tried to convince me to go to the ER-but last time we did that, even with our insurance we had a thousand dollar bill- no thanks. Plus I can walk on it so I'm sure I'm fine.

Drew stayed home for an hour and a half- did lunch for the boys while I sat with my foot propped up with a bag of frozen blueberries. Then he put the boys down for a nap and left for a meeting. Luckily the boys both took over 2 hour naps, then Oliver got picked up and now Jasper is watching a movie, something he doesn't get to that often so he's content.

I'm still sitting with my foot propped up, but have been walking around only with a slight limp. It hurts- but not too badly anymore. But I do keep getting weird tingles in my foot and lower leg still.
