So blogging during nap time didn't happen.

Because nap time didn't really happen. Thanks, ridiculously loud cable guy right during 'nap time'. Appreciate it. But at least we have internet and cable now!
And now, for a little picture update (all iPhone) from our weekend!
Our weekend was off to an Amazing start with 5th row Rockies tickets! (Thanks to Drew's boss's season tickets!) We were right behind the dug out! Now that is seriously the way to watch a game! Being that close, there was such an incredible energy! After a fantastic win they put on the best fireworks show I've ever seen in my life I think. Seriously they were That good. And Tindra mastered another word "wow" she just kept repeating it over and over again. I've gotta tell ya, watching her and Jasper watch the fireworks and seeing their aw and reaction was even better than actually watching the fireworks.

They both did fantastic (I had several people comment to me how well behaved they were for such a long game and obviously way past their bed time) and both fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot leaving the game. And major bonus, they slept in till 9! That's a miracle for this house.
Saturday we had a loooooong morning at Ikea buying things for upstairs. We have so many things we want to get for the new house, but are taking it room by room. On Saturday we got a new dining room table/chairs and a little kitchen table for our breakfast nook plus new sheets/duvet for our and Jasper's room!

Saturday night we had a babysitter scheduled so we went to look at the new iphone and out to dinner before calling it a pretty early night and headed home to build our new furniture. How exciting we have become! Furniture building on a Saturday night! I wouldn't have it any other way :)
Sunday was another busy day with Jasper's school carnival (where he got his face painted like a lion!) and then Swedish class, but no pictures of that since after a million drops, my phone bounced off a cushion for the softest landing possible and the screen shattered into a million pieces. Drew thinks it was a little too convenient that my phone happened to break the day after we went to look at new phones..but none the less surprised me with a new phone while we were at Swedish school. He's a keeper that one!

  2. We were watching that game on TV! Can't believe you were there and so close! Not to sound all judgey but that game got out pretty late, I'm a little surprised you had the kids out that late...

    1. It was a special thing, and though I'm usually pretty strict with naps/bed times I'll definitely break the rules for something big like 6th row tickets and fireworks at a big game. Yes they were a little crabby in the morning, but it was worth it and I'd do it again! Thanks for your concern.
