Holy Bump + Green Jeans, Finally!

I. Have. Popped. At 14 weeks. Whaat? Over night I got HUGE. And it's freaking me out a bit. Monster baby in there? I'm thinking so. Thinking this one will try to beat his brother's 8 lb 9 oz and 22 inches long (yah I grow long babies)

How far along: 14 weeks and 2 days
Size of Baby: Naval Orange!

Total Weight Gain: Last appointment I had lost 3 lbs- and I think before that (not sure starting weight) I had probably gained a few lbs before feeling sick,  so I think at this point I was even. But now my appetite is mostly back so I'm SURE I've started gaining! Should probably start weighing myself. Blah.

Maternity Clothes: I've bought maternity jeans now, and ordered maternity leggings- otherwise all non maternity. Going to need to invest in some bigger bra's though- have had a few 'nip slips' around the house when I was just wearing a bra and pants.

Gender: Find out next Thursday, but who are we kidding. It's a boy. Ostransky men do Not produce females.

Movement: I think I've felt some twinges but supposedly that's not possible yet, so I guess not yet?
Sleep: It's getting better. My insomnia is gone. Only waking up once a night to pee- able to stay up past 8 PM now!
What I miss: Not being fat. A glass of wine would be nice. But at this point I'm not missing too much!
Cravings: bagels, hot pockets (gross) and au gratin potatoes (Which I happen to make the best, so that's a plus!)
Symptoms: I get out of breath folding laundry or putting dishes away- SO freaking weird. I didn't have that at All last time. But anytime my arms are raised I feel dizzy/out of breathe and my heart races. Almost feels like what a panic attack would feel like?
What I’m looking forward to: Our 3D/4D ultrasound next Thursday to find out (confirm) that this baby is a boy.

In other news..I finally wore THE Green Jeans. The ones I ran all over Stockholm looking for this summer. Sadly, it was my first and last time wearing them. At least for the next year I'm sure. I could no where Near button them. Sad sad day. All my other jeans button just fine, but these were a bit small to begin with, hello have you SEEN how tall and skinny most Swedes are? I'm lucky I could squeeze my booty in them this summer NOT 3.5 months pregnant. But I decided I MUST wear them once. So with the help of my beloved belly band- I wore them. All day.

I know it's probably hard to believe, but I'm thinking these stripes made me look even bigger than I am. Or maybe it's the pictures- because these make me look like I'm about 7 months pregnant. Oh wells, what can ya do? To be fair- I'm only like half this size when I wake up in the morning? So odd.

And for a comparison..this is me at 14 weeks last time around. Just a TAD difference.

Outfit
Green Jeans: bought in Stockholm in June
Shirt: bought on the island of Gotland, Sweden in June
Boots: Bought in Karlstad, Sweden January of 2009.

Just now realized everything in this outfit is from Sweden!

  2. I had that weird dizzy/out of breath thing with my first pregnancy. I think I remember my midwife telling me that your lungs bring in more oxygen during pregnancy and that can kind of make you feel that way. Or I might have just made that up. Either way...I got bigger WAY faster during my 2nd pregnancy, but ended up gaining a lot less weight..weird!
